is that a typical german way because the seltersbrothers demand the status of a church to save taxes and get public subvention.. since 1990 they are keen to get this privlege but at present time they stay where they begun.. i remember when i studied with the witnesses some decades ago that an elder mentioned: we never would become church.

WTS law and oral law

has the wts commited the same folly as the writers of the oral law?

in a magazine some years ago there was an article on the oral law.

it discribed how the oral law was developed to be like a fence around the writen law to prevent ppl from breaking the writen law.the article showed how the priests, who invented the law ,were laying a burden on jehovahs ppl that the didnt need ,sort of saying how wrong and misdirected the priests were.

oral advice is no wirtten advice, every elder gets it to hear from CO or DO and then it is valid.

the advantage is that in no case there is anything written.

so the borg does its business as usual. in France they encourage to go to elections as they know that the JW's dont elect anybody.

i know that word 'alienz' will put a lot of people off, but really, are extraterrestrials the same thing as the beings in the bible, and is it just a choice in terminology of which words we are more comfortable with using, if you think they are not the same thing, why do you think this?.

I have the same meaning regarding this thread too. The predeluvial "angels" came down to earth and witnesses children with the women.

that is the meaning of what you are taught by WTS and others.

But I remember that there is from Jesus an utterance regarding thos who die and get resurrected. they are said to be like angels what means that they have no desire to sex.

When we think that the fallen angels desired sex and were enabled to witness a terrible race here in earth I somethimes think that they are exterresticals with a DNA that is nearly like huma DNA and permits certain developments.

Why should an angel not be a creature with a human like body only on another level of existence?

What do we know about the universe or about life? its less than the dust under your nails.

So I would not be surprised if this thinking has some relation to reality. I dont make it to be a dogma but remember the angels visiting Abraham and Lot.
